CNPP to Buhari: Order publication of lawmakers involved in NDDC contract scam

The Federal Government has said it is working with state governments and some development partners to improve the country’s education system.

The plan which is part of the government’s response to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic will make the educational system more digitally accessible.

The Senior Special Assistant on Education Interventions to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), Obafela Bank-Olemoh, said both the federal and state governments would provide more funding for devices.

Bank-Olemoh stated this at MTN Nigeria’s The Revv Programme masterclass on ‘Education without borders and boundaries’.

He said, “The reality has changed how we do education whether at the state or federal level.

“Whether we like it or not, we have to provide devices for our children. This is because if something like this happens the second time, we can’t make the excuse of not planning for it.”

He said the plan was not just to put devices in the hands of students but also to see how this could be done locally.
